I'm tired today. I was up late last night watching season 4 of Dexter. My girlfriend got me into it, and it's really compelling! Season 4 features John Lithgow (with special guest appearance by John Lithgow's ass) being really creepy as only John Lithgow (and his ass) can.

If you were worried about the "Dexter Morgan: Family Man" thing from the end of Season 3, it's actually played pretty well. Dexter's wry humour extends into the scenario nicely and there's a good bit of character development for him.

I won't give anything away, but we stayed up late to watch the last two episodes. Also, you know how in 30 Rock the characters sometimes gasp and say "twist!" when something unexpected happens? My girlfriend did that in earnest at the end of one episode.

Also, Sergeant Battista is awesome.
