Did you know The reason King Henrys codpieces were so large was due to the fact that he had syphillis and his genitalia was sensitive to the touch that he needed the large piece so it wouldnt touch him. It would then become fashionable to have large codpieces, which some would prefer to think that it was worn to "scare the sissy french"
