It's true!
I've tried this before. The rat/chihuahua/dog thingy was lounging up there so I shoved her off and took her spot. And promptly fell asleep.

Completely true~
I've tried it as well even though I never had a pet that did it. It was so comfy and I didn't even fall off onto the ground I fell back onto the sofa!
