Today is Pi day in the United States, because they put the month first when writing out dates, so March 13th is 3/14.

In countries where the date is written day/month, Pi day is the 22nd of July, or 22/7. It's not exactly Pi, but it's close enough for the kind of math we're dealing with here. It's pretty much just an excuse to eat some pie.

Instead of Cosmo the Quote Bunny, today's vote incentive is a photo of our cat Ollie wearing a tiny pink hat.

She's not exactly happy about it.

Actually Pi day for those doing day/month would be 31/4 since Pi is 3.14.

@Lycos: The 22/7 requires a little math. 22 divided by 7 = 3.142857142857142857142857.....142857
So 3.14...
Pi is 3.14... That's where he is getting July 22nd.

@TheCatMolloy: What would July 24th be then?

"Let them eat cake.... or PIE!"

NOOOOOOOOOOO!?! When did you start putting up Alt Text!?! Now I have to go back X,XX,XXX,XXXX amount of pages!?!

There's a market for everything. Look at this at your own discretion!

Alt texts are a regular feature of the new run, most strips after 'Understudy' have them, most strips before don't.

Those people breads are weeeeeird.

@Lycos: that would be the day if there was a April 31 but since April only has 30 days it doesn't work out

But it's Pi month anyways for the rest of the world.

In fact, it's the last Pi month for another century.
