Quilts and duvets are basically the same thing.

To a cat, a fat person's just a big heated mattress who'll probably die young enough for their meat to still taste good. Kitties love me :3

EDIT: Cosmo the Quote Bunny went with a Homer Simpson quote for this one - "Donuts. Is there anything they can't do?"

:)

my boys more or less kept to themselves, though Archie was more then welcome to use the pillow next to @ night when I went to sleep. He more or less knew that he was allowed to be on the bed whether i was there or not, Monty was also though he preferred to stay in the livingroom.

What's a duvet. I'd look it up, but it puts me at an inconvenience. Also, is it pronounced Duh-vet or Doo-vay?

Something you cover a bed with, much like you would a comforter

doovay like doll clothes for your comforter. People buy these boring white blankets, and then one (or an assortment) duvet cover. Allows your blankets to match your seasonal decor (if you're Martha Stewart). May also provide the added benefit of allowing you to wash the humanity (and cat fur) off your comforter by putting the duvet cover in the wash without having to worry about whether the blankety-padded-comfortable portion will every actually get dry again or if it will develop a mold and kill you with insidious musty funk. (or: If your comforter was a sandwich, a duvet would be the sandwich bag.)

I thank you all.

A duvet, a bloody annoying thing that takes too much time and effort to set up properly, and then spends half the time off your body after making things too hot even in Winter.
