Got new batteries for the camera and decided to take some photos with the V for Vendetta mask in shot given the day that's in it.

That meant photographing Ollie because Aleister's just too darn anarchic.

Of course, the real Guy Fawkes was trying to blow up the houses of parliament so that the Catholic monarchy could take control of England, which isn't QUITE the same thing as what V was trying to achieve in either the book or film.

Ideas may be bulletproof, but they're vulnerable to time.

<-*can do nothing but shake head @ today's Uuoer-Understudy*

So, Cosmo the quote bunny has been replaced by Ollie the quote Kat?

Although there is a thread running trough the images the sound design lacks a certain vital quality of life. The lyrics of the music chosen for your piece are very superficial by themselves and have little power to move or motivate others without the presence of time. Additionally, in order for photographs to be considered works of art they usually have to have some quality of tone and texture that makes them distinguishable from a shadowbox, sculpture, or painting.

In short, If you could set up a picture of ollie featuring only three colors and different tones and variations thereof, using the three common trigonometric design principles (feung shui, fibonacci, rule of thirds), with some faux textile background or some naturally occurring specialized braid of space and depth, while shooting the picture with your feet and standing on your head... you might have a work of high art.

As it stands, I've seen pieces of toast used as a halo around kitten faces that have more subtlety.

uhh how long until Neko comes back?

I wouldn't say "never again" in the post 9/11 climate, without explaining why I believe this to be true. NTKGar better known as the Cat Molloy is not manic depressive. He is depressed. He's not going to stop being depressed any time soon, and no amount of bullying or poking him with a stick is going to make him update 'Neko the Kitty' EVER again.

That is until he's resolved his grief, or whatever other issues he may have, for the loss of the approval from one, or potentially multiple, ignorant people he regarded as his friends living domestically or abroad. People that he's more likely to see as his superior (if not equal) in the social arena. Yet, from whom he expected undue allegiance because of manufactured ideals like loyalty, duty, and commitment among other morality plays that dogs don't really promise their owners, but get credit for anyway. I don't know why.

I'm theoretically in the same age group as Gar so my excuses are just as valid but less likely to appeal to pity.

Personally, I stopped updating my comics for different reasons. Because I'm in the process of self improvement, and it has been my experience in the past that I've been made a scapegoat without any true authority. I can't really argue an appeal to pity, as such, because by saying that I don't have time, money, resources, or that opportunities have been denied to me because of a blessing from God just really seems to tick people off.

So, basically, here I am answering questions I have no right to answer, because I feel it brings to light a moment of joy for everyone who's in on the joke.

Plus, since I'm working class, well aware of that fact, and understand no amount of effort on my part will improve my social handicap without money, status, power, merit, mastery, material, or luck. I decided to take it upon my self to do something beyond the norm of graduate, make money, get married. Because as soon as I learned I was considered unskilled labor upon graduation from an __accredited__ institution of higher learning, I figured what I needed was MORE unverifiable knowledge. Because, unlike a verifiable work history, it's not counted as experience when in reality it actually is.

I miss Neko Neko kitty was so great! I missed coming home from school everyday and excitedly checking for the new update. Even if there wasn't I would reread the last one and laugh.

a few things Firstly:
Remember Remember the Fifth of November
The gunpowder treason and plot
I see of no reason
The gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

Secondly, Although GTs does think that NtK won't return, I do remember Gar, the author telling me on here that it will come back one day when he feels ready. So @futureborn, just be patient. Have faith....

I didn't say I believed that it wouldn't return. I clearly stated that I wouldn't say "never again." Details friend, details.

While you were clearly justified in coming to that conclusion. It was obviously a miscommunication on my part.

Plus, I was attempting to be, for lack of a better word than cute, a butt head.

To be exact, I was having a bit of fun by playing around, goofing off, and being silly. It's clear there really wasn't any malicious intent.

It could hardly be classified as being in the same vain as poke the bunny. It's more like happy noodle boy discussing ritardando using a bunny in a bell jar.

0_0 Holy walls of text, Batman.

I came back and actually read the comments section... I didn't realize you were joking until you said so but reading it again I realize it's pretty good. :P

Also, is there any chance of ever talking to Gabriel himself rather than an abstraction?

I'm from America and until recently I never really knew was Guy Fawkes Day was but I think this journal sums it up pretty well.

Reply GabrielsThoughts, November 7th, 2013, 8:11 pm

I too am American and I kind of always assumed Guy Fawks was a terrorist along the lines of Batman's "Anarky." Or, if you prefer one of the now established contemporaries of Jesus Christ, "Brian" who somehow became leader of the jewish nazi party and the peoples front of judea simultaneously. Supposedly, Brian was the son of legendary Naughtious Maximus and was often mistaken for God's gift to mankind...

Taking this new information into account we can now assume that Guy Fawks was the son of either Don Juan Diego de la Vega or his twin brother Bunny Wigglesworth of Bohemia.

@GabrielsThoughts: Just remember that internet sarcasm is a dangerous game... sarcasm uses tone of voice to distinguish fantasy from reality... text has no tone.

I am not a pragmatist, I am a visionary! But, my sense of humor is so dry, understated, and comes from pain... How could one genuinely take it seriously. It's a whimsical parody of satire in it's own right.

It is the penultimate consolidation of manic humor and demonic glee, wherein, at the point it approaches the summit of black comedy it falls just short of comedic sociopathy.

The thing about the internet is, even if something screams SATIRE/COMEDY/HOAX! In bright red letters in chiller font, some idiot will come along and believe it. That's how trolls have their fun after all, I'd figure you would know that.

And yeah, that you get so much humor out of how you act? Kinda scary. Really scary. Freaky.

Reply GabrielsThoughts, November 8th, 2013, 5:07 pm

I can't tell if you're stuttering, or if you're genuinely interested.

It falls short in that I am well aware of my rights, the transcultural rights of others; And, while I don't particularly care so much for the feelings of others, I do my best to not mindlessly bully, or launch attack ad hominem, while limiting my negative confrontational feedback to things that can be changed or which are usually considered subjective.

Plus, I'm genuinely interested in seeing other people succeed. SO, I sneak in lots of useful information that I wish I had access to years earlier. You just have to pay attention or play along. I don't care who uses the information because I haven't seen evidence that it could genuinely be used for malicious purposes. Not to mention the fact that since I'm not one who was typically given the information I needed, in as straightforward a manner as I would have preferred, instead of being contemptuously mislead or being treated as an inferior, I find it particularly therapeutic.

If anyone is interested in anything remotely similar to Neko the Kitty... There is Ubu Bubu which is like a cross between Neko and Ghost Stories if the aforementioned series were thought up by the creative team behind Sonic '06.
