It's not that Aleister can't imagine things serving more than one purpose, he just can't imagine purposes other than his own.

'Cattress' was originally in the comic to itself, but was relegated to alt text because the feminine word ending created some ambiguity in the context of the previous strip. Ambiguity which might imply that my backpack smells like feet, which it doesn't. It smells like Aleister.

Today, Cosmo the Quote Bunny is quoting Ani Difranco.

Had a strange conversation with Paige last night. We were watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix. It was the Season 2 episode where Riker was transferred to a Klingon ship, and he was eating Gach (or however it's spelled). Paige wondered aloud what kind of shits that'd give you. Evidently Klingon food isn't toxic to humans (in later seasons of Deep Space 9 there's a Klingon restaurant on the station which becomes very popular), but there's plenty of Earth foods that are delicious and non-toxic which, nonetheless, add a more exciting than usual conclusion to the culinary experience. Spicy foods and the like.

Anyway, we concluded that Klingon food gives you the shits of a warrior. A mighty battle, filled with blood and honor.

She's a keeper, that one.

Like when you try to explain to cats, "that's not a toy!"
Or better yet, "that's not a litter box!"

@ Juan, I've had that happen a few times with the two cats I have...

@ Gar, i beleive the word your looking for is: Gagh

As for the above mentioned food item. While the stuff wasn't live, I had planned on hitting the out of town ST Con. so had the idea of being prepared I had made the point along the way of visiting a Bulk Food Barn & picked up about $5- 6 in both plain & Sour gummie worms.

they were polite enough that they only took about 3 or 4 @ a time though there was lots in both bags...
it went over well with the Klingon folks

Tell me something , have any of you ever heard of the beverage called: Moxie?

Yeah, my cat thinks that backpacks are for sitting too. Also boxes, counters, dog kennels, stovetops, clean laundry, dirty laundry, blankets, power strips, computers, dogs, tablets, beds, dressers, windows, and the occassional doorframe.

@TheCatMolloy: Ahhh Frugalferphing: The act to entertain odd conversations for the sheer enjoyment of the moment, setting aside boundaries like manners, moral limits, sanity or other such frivolous matters.

I do quite enjoy a good frugalferphing now and then. Although sometimes I enjoy the conversations to which any attempt of recapping consists of the sole sentence "You had to be there." However I do quite enjoy frugalferphing in the proper way, to which fantastical tales of wonderment are recapped so elegantly, it renders the viewer into a mindset of questioning the sanity of existence. '

I applaud your penmanship, dear Gar, as well as your successful frugalferph. May many such moments welcome themselves into your lives as Alister has welcomed himself to your wants.

PS: A Smurf does not Frugalferph
