Found myself killing quite a bit of time on willyoupressthebutton.com/ over the weekend. The site presents you with a button over two boxes joined by a 'but', so it's stuff like 'You can turn invisible' but 'While invisible you continuously fart loud stinky farts' and you can choose whether or not to press the button. Questions are submitted by the community and after you make your choice you get to see how many people did or did not press the button.

It's basically just a big online game of hypothetical questions. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of moderation on the questions that are submitted though, because 'being black' (phrased in varying degrees of indelicacy) is listed as a "negative" consequence to pressing the button with unsettling frequency.

Coming inside Rainbow Dash is listed as a "positive" consequence with equally unsettling frequency.

Anyway, it's an interesting site, it throws up some interesting hypothetical questions, not the least of which is "What the hell is WRONG with people?!"

Today, Cosmo the Quote Bunny is quoting Terry Pratchett.

Aleister was a precocious youngster. I normally wait until they are 6 months before I neuter my pets, but he began trying to mount his sister with distressing regularity at about four months, so it was off to the vet with him.

The photos don't show it, but Aleister has managed to tear his ear pretty badly. It's not a tear into the ear, but rather looks like he flayed it some how. There was a strip hanging off it last night, and that was really gross so I'm glad it's gone now. Anyway, he seems to not care all that much, though Gar is chasing him around with a tube of Bepanthen (for those who don't know, technically it's a diaper rash cream, but it's a gentle antiseptic and I use it every time I have a new tattoo or cat scratch).

This is why it's always good to invest in two pairs of shoes should one bet occupied by a cat.

Huh I usually find a cat toy in my shoes, not the whole cat

I'd not say he was in the shoe, just holding it down to prevent it's movement...

For some reason this reminds me of someone I met. they used a cooking bowl and laid it out in order for their cat to dominate it. That way the cat stays in it's bowl and not in the ones you just got ready to cook with
