This question was posed on the Star Trek Facebook page. I hope Jonathan Frakes sees this some day. Regular comic will be back again soon :)

ha. Is it just me, or does Worf look like he was expecting this to happen? he just doesn't seem to be panicked like Picard or Data.

Worf panic? I don't think Klingons can panic

I completely missed the top of the comic. I started reading at the bottom five panels. Felt quite random. Still feels quite random.

I probably would've done the same thing, just not with a beard. Of course they would then need to rate star trek as X or AO

What is this I don't even know.
I guess I haven't seen that episode.

Technically.. Actually that episode was from the first season so TECHNICALLY he did NOT have a beard when he was given the powers of Q....and it's kinda sad that I didn't have to look up that episode to know that...sigh...

@ TNGGeek No, Mr. Wheaton, I remember that episode as well.

Yeah, that seems like something Rick Berman would do.

Berman, the man whose terrible tastes killed Star Trek.

I leave you alone for a week and look what happens.

In fairness to Rick Berman, he was executive producer for Star Trek: The Next Generation from Season 3, as well as the entire run of Deep Space Nine. Arguably responsible for the worst of Star Trek, but also for the best of Star Trek. I was going for 'smash cut to the end credits' for the last panel rather than a commentary on Rick Berman, but read what you will.

Guest, I'm not sure why your name's showing up as the strip title for this one. Just enjoy it :)

The problem with that is all the horrible stories I heard about how he basically tried to axe every good plot decision in DS9 and Next Generation.

I mean okay, I wasn't there, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I missed so many important things, but every time I "look deeper" into the Berman picture I see something worse.

More interesting to me was always Braga, who was like Jeph Loeb, or a child with ADD (but I repeat myself) and couldn't stick with a coherent thought for more than a few episodes. Good, bad, he was just all over the place.

But whatever, ain't my intellectual property, and it's not my money they were wasting.
