So there's a fundraising campaign going for human rights activist and Predator turned Prey author Ravyn Crescent. She had a fall earlier in the month and broke her hip, which required surgery. Her friends have put together an IndieGoGo campaign to help her out with the hospital bills. Donation perks include comics and original artwork by a bunch of her DeviantArt and comics friends, so have a look!

Looks like Top Web Comics is back up, so today's Whitespace Neko panel is now available.

Hmm... I think I read something simmilar a few weeks ago by some guy who was bullied as a child.

Thanks to what I've read I now KnoW how to kidnap children. While I'm sure the book was therapeutic for the author it may not necessarily convey the message that was intended by the author.

Although, I can see how one could safely come up with strategies for avoidance and prevention. I'm not entirely sure that would solve the problem.

Also, while tragedy is marketable I think it would be the wiser course of action to include some therapeutic platitudes to mitigate the damage.

Then again, purchasing the book might help her cover her medical expenses.

However, I think even Socrates warned of using sympathy to seek personal gain while poisoned with hemlock.

Although, I do often get philosophers mixed up. I believe Voltaire for instance pointed out that everyone has their own set of tragic circumstances, and Candide was quite the prodigy.

I find it is much more enjoyable to assume everyone is telling the truth. You simply have to figure out how to objectively find a common ground, with the understanding that some truths are colored through the art of deception.

You'd be surprised. It isn't any more painful than assuming everyone is lying to you.

Keno Cooper and the Fly Keno sees another Fly, though not in the corner of his eye this time...

I remember one time my brother's cat saw a fly in the window next to my computer and he would just go nuts every time it flew up but would lose track of it when it stopped flying, he even managed to catch it but got bored with it when it didn't move while stuck on his paw but it managed to get loose and start flying again, much to the enjoyment of the cat
Not sure if he ever did catch that fly or if it got away from him but it was just so funny

Woooo! More Poe! He is my favorite out of the lot of them. Three balls of justice guy was a close third. Don't ask about number two. It's rude to ask about that one in public.

Do I detect a hint of "Tiddly-dee" in your Comment, Mr. Ookami? ;)
