Leap of Faith!!! (in absolute randomness and the inconsistencies of reality)

I like to think Gar is down there and Neko will land safely on his groin.

True Facts Cats are lucky in that they have a non-lethal terminal velocity, that is, once they orientate and relax, their body spreads out and slows their fall (assuming they have time to, one must launch a cat from higher than 5 stories to be sure). Cats have been recorded at making 70 story falls uninjured and even one on the record books being dropped from an airplane walked away completely safe.
If I could only put knowing this fact on my CVs

I think instinct is related to pattern recognition. Which is ironic because in order for it to be truly effective one has to be able to identify the context, objectives, and resources available to them.

Ouch. I don't care that he's a cat. That's gonna hurt when he hits the ground.
And I was so focused on Neko jumping to his pain that I didn't notice that Keno said "sudsitute" where he clearly meant "substitute."

Cats falling from great height It is true that cats have survived falls from remarkable heights... and thank you for noting that a fall of 2-4 stories (ie. not enough time for the cat to relax) can be highly dangerous. Also, note that a "safe" fall from great height requires a decent place to land.

Of course, our dear Neko is a comic-kitty. I'm sure he'll be fine.

I see that more than just the cats are screaming up there. Poor McJeffer-whatever(I can't remember how to spell his name). XD

The 'Wire' is supposedly based on actual events. It would apear that the reality was stranger than fiction, as one of the living characters the show is based on survived a fall of great height.

one of those times... This is probably the only time where I don't want to know whats going on in the background since in the last panel that guy cosplaying as the Klingon took his armor off...
It's probably not what my dirty mind is thinking but still...

@Tsumi I learned that from Cracked.com. The world of reading!

Also, that fact comes with the saddest chart ever: Frequency of cat injuries relative to distance fallen

@Magic_beefy That was one of the two reasons I put my last comment, the other because of his injury. XD x2
