Ah, angst, where would exposition be without you?

I've currently got a nasty manflu. Just sneezes and associated juices, but they're not party secretions, so my expectorations for the weekend involve staying at home.

I've been watching a lot of Phineas and Ferb lately. The slug putting on a hat and jetpacking out in panel 3 is actually an oblique reference to Perry the Platypus. Paige thought it was something to do with the Hubris character, because of the hat, but that's just a common type of hat in cartoons.

Basically I'm saying Agent S there isn't a significant character in this story, he's just a doodle brought about by a free association between my cold and the show I was watching earlier.

Anyway, as always don't forget to vote at Top Web Comics to see Whitespace Neko's comments from the peanut gallery!

Hehe, my little bro watches that. I peek over his shoulder sometimes. The characters are great, sure, but the singing...ugh, I'm not sure if I'm weird this way, but I can't stand the singing >_<.

Oh, and am I right in thinking that wednesday's whitespace neko was the first time that neko has ever looked genuinely worried about something? Or am I overlooking something else? He looks adorable when worried, by the way ^^.

Phineas and Ferb is pretty good. Wish i'd noticed the slug before reading the comments though.

And so another pair go to the background leaving only Keno to be the center of attention.

If angst wasn't a thing, mainstream anime would be so much more refined.

And nobody would give a shit about Peter Parker.

Why is McJefferstien bleeding in the background? Did one of his hijinks go very wrong?

So... does that mean that whenever I can't get a cat to like me, that means it's gay?

@PookaAngharad- It looks like 5 comics back he or someone else who poops rainbows is jumping from building to building, so perhaps he got injured in doing so.

@Sup: The songs in Phineas and Ferb are very much a mixed bag. Some of them are irritating and go on too long, but some of them are really catchy.

Here's one I liked recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YXVC1sDPVk

They're making the world's tallest building and it's just a wonderful 'bit'. There's a harmony in the song that builds to a big chorus which is timed to this wonderful vertical sequence in the animation (the 'Floor after Floor' song, for those familiar with the show). It's about 90 seconds long.

I think the problem with the songs is that there's one every episode. They're fine as long as the number achieves something, but quite a few of them feel like they're just shoehorned in for padding.

If there's ever a Neko the Kitty animated series, I'd like there to be musical numbers every couple of episodes. Not every single episode, but enough for it to be part of the world.

@Tex: I don't know if you know what happened to Peter Parker recently or not...
