Trying a couple of experiments at the moment. The 4-panel layout is using a visual variation on the 'rhupunt' (or as Paige calls it 'badonkadonk') rhyme scheme established in the poem at the start of the chapter.

Also, going to try keeping the 'whitespace Neko' vote incentive for people who vote. Bonus content isn't default content, and it solves the pacing issue.

They are still together, he just doesn't want to "Do it" in the bushes.
You mean Neko. ;)

Thanks Vayne Thanks Vayne for a minute there I was worried that Keno found another cute tux cat to have fun with.

@NtKGar--Yay! My ID of the rhyme style stuck! :P

@C_L_Arctos: Credit where it's due, I googled the word 'rhupunt' when you told me there was a word for it. Applying it visually occurred to me in connection with a suggestion I received (on webcomics.com, an online community for cartoonists) to try for a more vertical layout in my strip. A 2x2 layout was suggested, and I had been working in multiples of four in the writing. Applying the pattern visually seemed a natural progression.

Too soon to do another poem in the dialogue, but combining the elements is going to have to happen at some point.

I like to play with style, but it's all towards refining technique. It's as much fun with the writing as it is with the art!

@NtKGar--Thing is, there's other names for the same rhyme scheme, but that one looked amusing, and, honestly, how often does one get to wax Welsh outside of Cardiff? :)
