Early update! That's enough poetry for now, so on to something else next week.

Speech balloons blocked out most of the human stuff in this strip, so here it is without the balloons.

Neko the Kitty forum now open So it occurred to me that the best way to get Reddit working for me is to get a bunch of Nekolytes on Reddit. It's also been a while since there's been a proper Neko the Kitty forum. There's a common solution here.

Turns out it's really easy to set up a forum on Reddit. You're not asked for an e-mail to create your account, just a username and password. The whole site is pretty self-explanatory, but I've created a page explaining it anyway. Just click this paragraph.

Is it a coincidence you started these rhyming strips on Talk Like Zecora Day?

Reply Cristian100n, September 6th, 2012, 11:49 pm

God I love these last three strips the most so far!
I hope this isn't the end of "Lap Dance"

@DeltaPangaea: Yup, pure coincidence. I like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but that's about as far as my Brony-ness extends. I know who Zecura is, but didn't know about Talk Like Zecura Day.

Besides, Zecura talks in ryhming couplets, and this is an AAAB CCCB DDDB pattern, so I'm not sure it counts.

Wait, I mean...

Yes, this does of course relate
to the specified character's calendar date
If you're on the MLP boards then don't hesitate
to tell everypony to congregate
where the timing of rhyming cartoons correlate
not by design but a strange twist of fate
(which I only discovered a few days late.)

Oh dear lord, the voting incentive was great. Haha! Without spoiling anything, it makes this particular strip very surreal and I find it amusing. Very clever ser.

Heh, thanks Freakke. The faces were obscured by the word balloons, so I was just having fun with that.

Excellent! I've loved these three - so funny (I bet I don't have the same tune as you, but I totally have a tune in my head reading them).
Girls don't escape by the way - my cat wait til I'm laid down then stamps on my boobs!
And I love your Zecora style comment too :)

Third panel of the voting incentive actually creeps me out a little.

Rhupunt Going Welsh with the rhyming, Gar? :)

Reply NtKGar, September 10th, 2012, 12:52 pm

Yep, and I'm using dactylic meter! The tune is an Irish jig.

For some reason I'm hearing a particular tune about a washerwoman...

Guys let them up because they love having pussy cats in their lap :D (if any little kids get that reference, it's not my fault)
