I wrote this to the tune everyone seems to think of when they think of traditional Irish music. It's a specific tune but I don't know what it's called or where it comes from, it's either a traditional Irish tune or it's from Darby O'Gill and the Little People (and no, those phrases aren't synonymous).

Bummie spotted!. And I love the "intentional-ism" of Nekos' foot plantings

I've read this entire 2-part poem in the style of the Beastie Boys, I don't know, but I think that's the marks of good fatherhood on my side.

Some trends never come to an end and are universal among people of a certain "stage" of development. Some people see life as a game and others a performance art, still more believe there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts.

Dammit Gar, I'm a doctor not a reddit specialist.
Actually I don't know what reddit is so I can't help you doing whatever it is you want us to do there.

Ok got an account. How do I experience this feeling you humans call upvote

Gar is in the N.O. L.E.A.P.S. camp. Bonus points to anybody who gets the reference.

I recommend pursuing what makes you happy.

Upvote is very simple, to the left of the thread title there are little up and down arrows, click the up arrow to upvote (it'll turn orange).

You can also upvote individual comments within a thread, which adds to the user's 'comment karma'. The higher a comment's karma, the further up the page it appears. Similarly, the higher a link/thread's karma, the closer to the top of the front page it appears. You can also downvote by clicking the down arrow, which subtracts from karma, moving the post down the page relative to posts with higher karma.

Reddit threads tend to get pushed down pretty quickly. Unless a thread gathers a decent amount of karma in its first couple of hours, it'll be pushed so far down the page nobody will see it. If something gets a lot of upvotes in the first few hours, it stays on the front page and will have a tendency to accumulate more karma.

R/comics is one of the bigger 'subreddits', with over 200,000 subscribers. 50-100 upvotes is usually enough for a post to make it to the front page and stay there for a day or two, which is a great publicity boost.

Once again, I'm trying to mobilise the readers into working together to bring in more readers. I don't have the money to spend on advertising at the moment, so I'm reliant on 'buzz' to grow the audience. Reddit's a good place for that buzz to accumulate.
