A bit of barstool philosophy to start off your weekend. I figured I'd do a Poe strip seeing as it's Friday the 13th.
The script for this one is based on a conversation I had on Reddit. Poe's magical abilities are demonic in nature (it's established in an earlier strip), so I thought the 'me non serviam' argument fit him nicely :)
Y'know, I find it incredibly amusing that people are going on about losing the game in the comments of a strip explicitly saying how not to lose the game
In life there are no inevitable outcomes... except during the rites and pastimes of friday the thirteenth.
Just admit that Neko uses the neotech, neothink system of anarchy and be done with it.
Because I have needs...
Not to pry, but I've noticed the scale of the past few strips appears wonky to me. I was wondering if you had an explanation, artistic or otherwise, that would excuse what might very well be creative license.
I didn't decline to play in this odd social experiment, per se. I merely reclassified myself as a course hazard. No one can win or declare themselves a neutral judging body to challenge it. Besides, it means I get to torture people who take idiotic things too far.
@Guest
With regards to your presence. On the one hand you claim to be a guardian of the system and on the other you act as if what you are doing is an act of rebellion. Now, If you want a real social experiment, give me a billion tax free American dollars just to see what I can do with it. I guarantee I could get more milage out of the money than someone who earned it or had to pay it back. And that includes Doctor Evil.
--@GabrielsThoughts: I didn't declare myself either of those. Perhaps you should get yourself a dictionary and look up "Course Hazard." It's generally applied to a sand trap or water hazard on a golf course. Also, why should anyone give you any money? All you've proven is a shaky grasp of the English language and the ability to post on the internet. You're not even entertaining. If I had money to give, I'd sooner give it to webcomic artists. They actually entertain.

...
Now imagine Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker saying that when they lose the game.
