If you're coming through the archives, this one is a sequel to this animated strip from 2008.

The animated comics take a while. I draw each frame by hand for the animated strips. I should probably learn Flash, but the old-fashioned way is kinda fun.

For those of you so inclined, here's [Nyan Cat] to play in the background. The [Leek Spin] song kind of works better. I'm sure somebody will find the perfect music eventually.

Woot!, for a head-blowing good time. Just call these two...

if only ah the glorious powers of head blowing up. if only i had that power.
In the famous words of Mantax-
"I have no friends only enemies i have not killed yet" but in this situation it is
"I have no friends only enemies i have not blown up yet."

Baby don't hurt me. What Is Love by Haddaway works pretty well.

@ NtKGar, would the tune Buttered Popcorn suit the above (comic?). Looks like the tune would am playing the song on youtube while watching, you'd just have to speed up the rate of the head popping to match the songs tempo..

coincidence? I was listening to "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails when I saw this. Head explosions were timed perfectly with the hi-hat crashes during the chorus. Coincidence?

Let's hear it for the lulz in action.

You've dunnit now. You've created a temporal loop. Each new head explodes it's opposite and then is in turn blown up just before it can begin to grow bored. The psycho-kinetic force of each explosion is then absorbed by the body which is plenty enough to grow a new head. The new head, enjoying the game and wanting to "win" psychically transmutes the remaining energy and mass along with a handful of localized zero-point energy into a concussive force that you guessed it, blows the other one's head off and continues the cycle.
You know the best part?! At the rate their increasing the entropy of the universe, we've got about week left. That's right Gar, from a few trillion years down to a friggin week! And you let it happen! I hope you're happy with yourself.

NtKGar, 14 Jun 2012 06:03 pm

Very happy. Did you watch it with the Leekspin song?

Hallo (Guest), 14 Jun 2012 07:32 pm

Awesome comeback Gar.

All is forgiven.

The one theme to rule them all. Try the Imperial March from Star Wars. It's almost scary how well it fits. I think that the problem with some of the other themes is that they are too high tempo. Imperial March, fairly slow with lots of percussion.

Mortal Kombat theme song. nuff said.

fidgetofdoom, 15 Jun 2012 03:10 am

winwinwin I love this strip... every time the tail gets all krimped from the explosion i giggle.

of all the songs, the MK theme song is def the best. lol... If I had the skills I would make the song say a list of the cats names where it lists the game characters. lol.

This is my favorite strip out of all somewhere-around-1000 that exist at the time I'm writing this.
