Ultra positive ending there... :d But no, I love Keno and his simples. Makes me happy.

Sometimes I wish I could have Keno's ignorance of money. It's such a horrible system, yet if we got rid of it today, there would be chaos.

You are a master of economics. Seriously, this has to be the best comic I've read on the current system of economics since... Spice and wolf, Japan INC, and biblical economics (<-- which is surprisingly the most ignorant and outdated of the three listed despite being the most recent).

Commanding Heights is a good documentary about the history of economics. The inside job is another documentary I'd like to recommend about the current state of economics. And, If you like those I can recommend a few more...

Why are you all looking at me like I broke Keno's fragile little mind?

If you like to listen to music whilst reading your comics, I would suggest my personal favorite song, Moneytalks by AC/DC

Love Neko's comment, really sums up the whole concept of, well, everything.

Yes, economic sure are.. uh.. economic-y and junk..

And we should totally be happy we live in a carefully structured system! You may enjoy scrounging around for cash for years..

And then you die.

One hit wonder I'm surprised no one mentioned "gimmie some money. " That has to be one of Spinal Tap's greatest hits.

Oh, I also remembered "Heat Guy J" had economics in it. Although, to be honest, I never really watched the show. Supposedly it was an MTV cartoon like "Downtown" or "Bevis and Butthead."

I see a bummy!

Shut up and take my money! I'd pay to have Poe's explanation on the front of a t-shirt with Neko saying "And then you die" on the back

Reply VirtualPlay, March 3rd, 2012, 11:51 am

Okay, it's not a shirt... But I made a wallpaper with the last two and a half panels:

Time for a comment... After reading this from the begining all the way to now, (Mind you, it was a while back)
But still, I do so enjoy reading this Comic. I find it funny and very entertaining.

@VirtualPlay: I'd like to share this on the Facebook group if you're cool with that?

Reply VirtualPlay, March 4th, 2012, 6:51 am

@NtKPaige: Sure, no problem! :D

I actually tried to fit the first three panels onto it to try and make it less empty, but it then was too cluttered, so I took the logo (faded and enlarged) and put it on.

Well the tone changed... Finally read from the beginning to this newest update. It's amazing how it went from frivolous 'hee - cat ownership' to a serious speech about the economy.

But that's why I love it! (Although please tell me there'll be a return to the funny observations about cats soon!)

It's not exactly human behavior... don't be absurd. Every one who has a mental investment in this comic wants to see it gather interest. It's not going to accomplish that if it panders exclusively to fetishists, cat lovers, geeks, and narcissists.

Reply NtKGar, March 5th, 2012, 5:32 am

Well, there's a lot to be said for niche audiences :P

One of the things we've been looking at lately is that the NtK cats have human-level intelligence, but still for the most part lead ordinary cat lifestyles (hence Keno not having a concept of money).
