I don't know what is weirder. That he is using a live grenade point blank for negotiations. Or that all of the claw marks from Neko and Murphy are healed already.
I think he is going to need a bigger grenade. Jeff has magic super healing. No wonder he can take a kick to the balls and still be standing. I get lightly tapped there and i'm on the floor in pain.
See, in order for the grenade to be effective Gar needs the ring.
Seriously? I thought the nose thing was from Vigrasol bubble gum. I've also read that Freud considered the nose a substitute for male genitalia. Not to mention the fact some cultures in the middle east remove body parts in whole as a form of punishment condoned by religious practices that have no basis in the dialog or actions of their prophets.
@Guest: Jeff doesn't have superpowers, Paige just forgot to put in the scratch marks when she was colouring because the cats were distracting her. (our understudy sucks)
Anyway, the special effects team have been in and bloodied Jeff up properly now, so it's all good.
aw i thought he had super healing powers. would explain how he was able to survive using a pogo stick off a cliff and landing on a bear to kill it as a kid. If I'm remembering older strips right.
don't feel bad they do the same thing in animated movies all the time. Go watch Tarzan if you can when he is fighting the leopard there are at least 3 times were the claw scratch on his chest magically goes away for a few seconds then appears back.
Continuity Errors
They're only supposed to be occasional? Aw hell, I've been putting at least one in every episode! Kinda as a companion game to spot Bummy :P
Archive Defeated
I really enjoy the comic Gar and Paige. Just caught up to with it and I look forward to reading more. Totally dig the addition of Neko at the end of the strips and all the background randomness. Please continue ^.^
FINISH HIM!
well you have to admire his fighting style. 1 cheap shot and he counters with 2 cats to the face, a kick the the groin and then a grenade on the nose.
I... I finished this comic...
It's been seventeen days, since I first discovered this comic. And only now did I finally reach the present times.
It was so neat to watch the styling and characters change from comic #1 all the way to present, to watch the jokes become more intertwined with the characters themselves...
"Small Talk", "Keno Copper and the Fly", and that bit where Jeff pranked himself were by far some of the best parts of this comic. Loved it so much- Thanks for having nearly a thousands comics up!
@Featherblade: Thanks for reading them all! We've got some good stuff coming up. I've been looking forward to getting to the epilogue for the current batch of stories for quite some time. Epilogue segues into the old style of strip where it's more stand-alone gags with character drama rolling along gently in the background, so that's kind of the main bit for me.
This story's been told on the fly for two years now. Kind of rambled for a while there, but I'm excited to be near the end and think people will really like where we wind up.
@GabrielsThoughts: I was just pointing out that Jeff hit Gar a lot more than once.
Nut shots
Jeff has some high pain tolerance to stay standing after a kick to the nuts, almost Russian Spetznaz level (they can take a major league baseball player hitting them in the nuts with a bat with out a single tear coming to their eyes, in fact that's training for them)
