If you mean Nibbler's dramatic baritone when he's speaking as opposed to the weird little chittering noises he makes most of the time, that's actually pretty close to how I imagine Poe speaking as well :)
Probably my biggest snowball's-chance-in-hell ambition for NtK is to have it turned into an animated series. I'd be interested to hear who the readers would cast and why.
I wouldn't abandon that dream, have you seen what kind of cartoons people will put on TV these days? Talking happy meals and metal-rock stars killing random monsters?
Interesting.
Christopher Walken as Neko the Kitty... Maybe Nicholas Cage as Murphy and Drew Barrymore for Maisy. Of course I would expect the infamous Tom Green to play Gar, because that guy can make anything funny...except horses. Then, just round out the rest of the cast with talented actors and keep at least two producer's Kids employed and out of trouble long enough for the show to stay on the air for a few years. Movie wise I'd ask for the same cast.
T.V. Show and Philosophical Keno
I would watch a Neko the Kitty animated series religiously! That would be amazing!
As for voices: I think Drew Barrymore would be good for Maisy. I'm not sure about Neko, but it seems like a kid or something should do Keno. I always imagine him having a kid voice. Except for when he is being philosophical.
By the way, speaking of philosophical Keno: When did he go from smart, poetic, and deep to acting like he doesn't have hardly any brain cells? I didn't know if you were doing it on purpose and Keno was just going through a phase or something, but I miss his deep thoughts and poems about random things like styrofoam, so I figured I would bring this up.
Keno plays a lot dumber than he actually is. Remember the bit with the honky horn? He's cute, it's a strength he plays a lot, and he uses it to hide his other strengths.
And as for poetry, well...I'm working on something at the moment.
yeah, i did mean the deep baritone, thats what it is when he ACTUALLY talks instead of the jibbering, and if NtK did become a show, i would watch it :3
I don't know the voice actor, but when I think of Poe I think of the guy that did the voice of the Chesire(sp?) cat in Alice in Wonderland; Madness Returns.

Whoopi Goldberg for Maisy
And Jeff Dunham as Peanut for Keno

@Tex: I haven't seen much of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but I do really like Metalocalypse, so I'll take that as high praise :)

Also, I miss when Keno was acting smarter, and could outwit Neko. But that's just me.
