There are three Bummy Paige did the colouring and shading in this one.

Apropos of absolutely nothing, this llama does the best Peter Griffin impression I've ever heard!

I see the mario bummy, the one in the window of the top floor, third panel, and the background hill bummy.

Hahaha what an end to Sidekick Man!

Reply RaeofSunshine, November 9th, 2011, 6:20 pm

hahaha I like having no empathy too neko

Great job paige! looks awesome!

also a question about top comic voting... is it a everyday thing or one time thing?

Reply Tex, November 9th, 2011, 6:25 pm

wow, adding isnult to injury much.

oddly enough this song started playing my head when I saw this page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEEsX69iIxY

Ironically, the lyrics were horribly corrupted into a scatological limerick. It was full of shrinky dinks and enema's. I wonder why.

Reply NtKGar, November 10th, 2011, 3:02 am

@GabrielsThoughts: Well, 'shrinky dinks' seems obvious in the context of today's strip, the enemas are your own personal flourish though. Maybe that could be your calling card if you ever decide to become a supervillain?

@Tex: It's more adding worse injury to injury :P

@Rae: The Top Web Comics thing is vote-every-day. I should probably do up some sort of vote incentives, try and climb the charts. What would people prefer: future Yellow Stickies, unfinished art from the next NtK strip, Bummy solutions, or photos of our cats?

For having been hit in the nads twice, he can speak amazingly coherently...

Also, teehee plap....

Reply NtKPaige, November 10th, 2011, 3:32 am

@Rae: Ta muchly :)

@Geckillin: I use heavier shadows than Gar does, and I like to play with light for affect, such as the super squashed look of Tarquin's three balls of justice in the second panel, and the ripple running through his stomach fat from where the McJeffersteini hits him.:)

@GabrielsThoughts: I had completely forgotten about the elephant show, a trip down memory lane.

Reply NtKPaige, November 10th, 2011, 3:35 am

@Gar: Photos of the cats! We have the cutest kitties eva! It could be tough to decide which cat tho. . .bitey is very photogenic, but farty is soooo cute!

Reply NtKGar, November 10th, 2011, 10:19 am

@Paige: You're on the creative team now, so you don't get a vote in questions directed at the audience I'm afraid.

Reply Guest, November 10th, 2011, 10:30 am

You know... I don't have any empathy for him either, because he reminds me of a rotund flesh-covered explosive beetle.

Reply NtKPaige, November 10th, 2011, 1:04 pm

@Gar: Awwww, but I wanna! *pout* Tbh, I just wanted an excuse to talk about our cats! ;-)

Reply kittypower (Guest), November 10th, 2011, 3:51 pm

Is it me? Or is there a mini Gar in the third panel in the window under the dinosuar thing

Reply Shiek (Guest), November 10th, 2011, 5:19 pm

MY GOD IT'S GAR'S EVL TWIN BROTHER!!!...wait or is Gar the evil twin...

Reply RoboKitty, November 10th, 2011, 6:37 pm

Gar's Twin What is that orange thing next to Gar's twin? PLEASE tell me it's a time machine!!!

Reply Licourtrix, November 10th, 2011, 7:18 pm

I saw this picture of my old cat and immediately knew it was something you had see Gar. http://www.smackjeeves.com/images/pb/N/N4615dg6wD1tOWex8T10q.jpg our cat Weasley holding a unloaded bb rifle my dad had been cleaning.

Reply RaeofSunshine, November 11th, 2011, 1:26 am

Oh I would like to see kitty pictures (cause apparently they have awesome names!!!) second would be unfinished art or scraps ^o^

Reply NtKGar, November 11th, 2011, 3:15 am

Bitey and Farty aren't their real names. Paige is apparently using descriptors in an attempt to preserve their true identities.

Reply NtKPaige, November 11th, 2011, 3:33 am

Oh I don't mind if the kids (read:cats) get famous, either for the comic or my book :P Bitey and Farty is just so much more descriptive of their true nature than Alestair and Olliander :P

Though Farty is in my lap as I type purring away and making happy smells most unlike any bloom I've ever come across, even the poisonous ones. . .
