Bless you with peace and prosperity. I can't help but think that your situation occurring round about the time when college students get their paychecks is more than a little coincidental.

I don't know maybe it's because I'm paranoid.

College students get paychecks? That doesn't happen in colleges in Ireland unless the students also have jobs! Is it monthly, annual, or by semester? This thing seems to be pretty popular with the college crowd, which is good, but I didn't expect them to have money! So that's a coincidence, but yeah, I guess the timing's good :)

Anyway, I've been really happy and surprised by the level of support the Help Gar Pay the Rent Initiative has received. It's gotten to the point where donations are a ways away from target, but has made more than I expected it to. We've got more from The McJefferstein Hypercrime Saga coming up next, and after that it's the next instalment of Moon Prison Adrastea 1983, so you'll get to see what's being done with the funds then. The Initiative hasn't raised the full special effects budget yet, but partial-budget gets costumes and some effects, so I think everyone will be happy.

Also: keep those facebook links and stumble 'likes' coming! There's a bunch of strips in the archive that I think could do well as viral things, but I need your help spreading them. If you like Neko the Kitty Comics, your friends will probably like it too, and should be bothered relentlessly until they become readers!

I was making a joke. Student loans and most forms financial aid have to be paid back. However, we can use it for things like food, shelter, clothing or entertainment. mostly the first two.

@Gabriel: The Eisner awards are pretty much the Oscars of comics. They're pretty prestigious. Dick jokes may not be the short road to victory for them though. At least no more so than for the Oscars.
