I'm a bit behind in my inking, and I spent a bit too long on the line art for this one, and got too tired to colour it properly, so I just coloured it to the point where I thought it looked kinda cool and left it at that. I kinda like it.

Should I just Frank Miller the rest of the way through this storyline?

EDIT: OK, so I went back and put in a fully-coloured version. If you want to see the partially-coloured comic that was originally posted here, here you go

:/ I think You should Try to colour normally as much as possible.

RaeofSunshine, 05 Jan 2011 06:36 pm

when I color, I usually start with the characters before I color the backgrounds. it makes me feel like I'm getting more done that way. Doing the piece meal first makes it seem faster for some reason.

The hot dog has appeared before. http://nekothekitty.smackjeeves.com/comics/939990/716-well-you-heard-the-hot-dog/

@wCailum: That's meant to be a bush...so there's an argument in favour of full colour right there. I just got too tired to colour this one properly. The spot colouring's kind of a neat effect, but full colour is a lot clearer.

I'm considering cutting back on my hours at work so that I've got more Me time. I work full-time and spend most of my free time drawing, so I don't have a whole lot of time to go out or read or play video games. I've been thinking about it, and I think I'd rather have less money and more free time rather than the other way around. My job's OK, but I don't really have any personal stake or interest in it beyond it being a job. I'll have to have a look at my contract to see if a 4-day work week can be sought.

noted i love how little details come up again such as the hot dog or the mr. potato head

Honestly I kinda like the partial colouring, it makes it kinda edgy- just right for a dramtical conclusion to a storyline. And sure, you know I think you should go for the four day week thing if its practicable. Imagine what you could do with a full day to dedicate to Neko!

sknywhtboy88, 08 Jan 2011 12:49 am

...maybe for the time being you should return to Keno and Gang if you don't feel like coloring.

NtKGar, 08 Jan 2011 05:35 am

Well it's Neko and Murphy next week. The cats are a good deal simpler to draw than the human cast, I'm just enjoying the superhero thing right now

Enochia, 08 Jan 2011 06:30 am

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I think the superhero thing is such good fun, but you know I'm totally bum for Keno! Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us with Keno and Murphy!

Enochia, 08 Jan 2011 06:32 am

Feck. . .and this is where dislexia rears its ugly head. . .NEKO! Not Keno. Yeesh.
