I've changed the typeface for McJefferstein's voice again because there were some issues with legibility at small sizes. This one's got good big loops and it's a bit more readable so I'll be probably be sticking with it for a while. It's already been established that Jeff hasn't settled on his evil villain voice yet.

Revisiting something from an earlier strip here. The McJefferstini was originally only going to make one appearance. McJ was going to take Hubris's little speech about child sidekicks to heart and just steal her bike.

That was the original plan, but then she saluted. I got an e-mail from McJefferstein the next day going "please please please can I keep her?" based on that action.

I really like that silent, stoical, emotionless little guy, so I said OK.

Haha so cute! Now to have her backstab him and become the new villain XD

When his sugar rush finally ends he's gonna sleep for a week. Or be in a coma. Whichever comes first.

I noticed the one part of town in a ever-lasting, monochrom night. NICE!

sugar hangovers are not fun... he's going to be sick later and probably swear off sugar for..... an hour xD

Reply NtKGar, December 3rd, 2010, 7:03 am

Pretty sure sleeping for a week and being in a coma are pretty much the same thing, Koren.

Comics - Where sense doesn't make sense... at least in one way. ^What did McJ do that the little girl is so obedient to him? My own idea is: "Sweet Service - Candy can come in handy when in need for sidekicks!" (AKA you do me food da candy, I do you follow.)
And what about her parents? Seriously, what kind of parents let their little girl go out on an adventure with some hyperactive sugar-junkie 24/7?

Reply McJefferstein, December 3rd, 2010, 10:38 am

24/7?? It's like 1:30pm, I don't have to be back to the rental place til 7pm!

Reply NtKGar, December 3rd, 2010, 11:08 am

"What did McJ do that the little girl is so obedient to him?"

He ate WAY more bugs than her!

And the McJefferstini has her own backstory and secret identity that make sense, but which haven't been revealed in the comics yet so I'm not going to ruin it.

gar you might want to double check the second link in your first post... theres an unwarrented space...
and its not actually 24/7... i dont think 24 hours have passed at all in this comic... probably only a few hours since jeff had his all marshmallow cereal, maybe a little after lunch xD

the question IS, is it a weekend and if not, why isnt that little girl in school xD

i don't see bummy. he not in this one?

Reply Evilguy, December 5th, 2010, 7:45 am

Ah, how fun evil is :D
And no Bummy! this is a travesty!! Maybe the pest control has gone through the city and is rounding them all up ;( Though, i do still see a bum, or should i say, DOOM ASS XD

Reply NtKGar, December 5th, 2010, 7:48 am

Bummy's in this one, he's just very subtle. He's not his usual purple, but he's there.

Also the second link in my author post is breaking of its own accord, it's correct when I go to edit it, so not sure what's going on there. It's this one http://nekothekitty.smackjeeves.com/comics/939959/739-showdown-at-the-giant-slug-exhibit/

Bummy, Bummy.... I think I found him. I may be wrong, but I think he's in the 7th panel, just his ... nah, can't be. I looked everywhere, but the closest thin resembling bummy is that round shaped "building" in the 7th panel (looks like half of his head).

Reply NtKGar, December 6th, 2010, 8:35 am

He's not in the 3 panels zooming in on the McJefferstini. It's actually a particularly difficult 'Where's Bummy?'

Reply sailoryue, December 6th, 2010, 11:07 am

he's in the 5th panel ;P

Reply random observer (Guest), December 10th, 2010, 5:48 pm

i still can't find bummy AND IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!

Reply NtKGar, December 10th, 2010, 9:07 pm

Clues that have been revealed thus far:
1)Bummy is in the fifth panel
2)He's not his usual purple

Reply Kyphis (Guest), September 12th, 2011, 7:47 pm
